Project "High-quality health care for residents of Georgia" lasts from August 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024 As part of the project, it is planned to create and equip the Camillians Rehabilitation Center with modern equipment.
The center will be built based on the Camillians Medical Center (Diagnostic and Rehabilitation), which has been operating since 2022 and was also created under the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs program: "Polish Development Aid".
At the Center, trainers - high-class doctors and other industry experts - will train Georgian specialists in the field of health care, in particular rehabilitation and diagnosis of disorders of children and adolescents, for 11 months. These specialties include in particular: physical therapy, speech therapy, and psychology. In total, thanks to the project, 34 specialists from Georgia will acquire industry-specific competencies.
Building a new qualified staff will open the possibility of introducing new diagnostic and treatment methods on a large scale in Georgia, which will take the field of rehabilitation to a new level, currently unavailable.
Specialists from various regions of Georgia will be involved in the project so that the knowledge and experience gained as part of the project will not be centralized only in the capital, but so that high-quality, modern types of rehabilitation are available to residents of other regions.
